This vast grey edition of the Nike Air Tailwind 79 Shoes are crafted with smooth textile uppers and durable suede overlays at key stress points. Following the original 1978 model, the exposed foam tongue offers a high level of cushioning around the top of the foot, and is encased with cotton laces with a woven Nike Swoosh label around the edge. Elongated swooshes have been added onto either outer panel, coloured in a rich mystic navy tone which matches the heel panel and inner border. Further branding has been added onto the back of the heel with capitalised ‘Nike’ branding in white.

Designed using a combination of premium materials, Nike have reintroduced their famous Nike Air Tailwind 79 model in an array of colours with modernised performance technology that incorporates both the origins and future of Nike. For all day support a Nike Air unit has been inserted into the heel and works alongside the rubber outsole with a waffle traction pattern.
